NYC

After staying a couple nights in new jersey the four of us decided we were going to take our chances in the big city of new york for the weekend. sean managed to arrange a key hotel spot for our visit right in the middle of times square, manhattan. we checked the acura into a car garage once we got there and got ourselves situated in the suite. since we were in downtown we would skate to spots from the hotel during the night finding parks and spots throughout the streets everywhere. we were able to come up on some subway day passes so that we could ride the trains free which gave us the opportunity to hit up a lot more during the days and gave us a chance to view each of the cities districts. we were able to meet up with some of the local skaters of the city who took us around and gave us their perspective of rollerblading in new york. after visiting the city of new york I understand now why its the world's empire city. the culture and artistic merritt of Ny is unlike anywhere else in the world. stories of endless traffic and muggings on the sidewalk merely touch the surface.

New Jersey

We arrive in nyc at about 9pm. We were headin to Queens, expecting a hotel complementary of Bernal Heights Dispensary. We finally get to The Paris Hotel, and immediatly i realize this hotel isnt of the norm, since the hotel clerk was sittin in a bullet proof aquariam. So i try to check in. And the lady tells me only 2 people to a room, and that theres a jaccuzzi (no shower) in each room. And by in the room i mean its a red jaccuzzi 4 feet from the bed, not in the bathroom. Long story short, we left that place, but not before bagozzi took a quick dip in the jacuzzi and tried to charge 50 bucks for it. Turns out every hotel in all of nyc is completely booked, so at 2am we decide head to the Sean Keane of the eastsides dorms in New Jersey. Next day we awoke to go skate with The Gnar mobile crew. JayGee, Sean keane, Diet Kyle, and Erik Stokley. Deals were laced in New Brunswick, and after we resided to The Stokleys, were we would smoke blunts and drink forties for the night. Next day we went and skated Staten Island with the Jersey crew, Skated some sweet lil ledges and a ledge to drop. Got some clips. Then decided to say farwell and go try our luck in Nyc ...again.

Ohio

We decided to leave Chicago when we woke up and all felt pretty bad from skating the days before so we headed out on the ohio turnpike. we got into akron ohio after multiple toll booths and crappy fast food to find James and his roomate steve at the local bar annabells. we got some food and met them back at there place where we played some chess and relaxed after a long day. The next day we wasted no time before going to the akron skatepark and some other warmup spots. then we met up with james and went to that really long stair ledge in the photos shown below, and some tricks went down before we got ran off by akron police. we skated alot more that day too. My favorite treat from ohio was the bar annabells free popcorn and venue showcasing the vocals and acoustic pleasures of rachel roberts who played her way into my heart.haha she was cute. i wanna say thanks to kyle steve james and jared for the great times in ohio and i hope i can see yall soon.

Chicago

10-6-07..a saturday in chitown. tha day started a little slow with a naice breakfast at P.J.'s pad..then headded down to tha university of chicago to warm up at a nice down leadge, stair rail/bank spot that had a skate park feal to it. be sure to cheak it out if your ever in chi. then moved on to some other spots on tha campus. Where tha locals procedid to rip and pull hammies left and right..After a few hours we all got hungry and whent to Maxwells st. for some windy city polish dogs.. Then dipped to down town Chicago underground for the night session..we did some grinds. I got my skates shinned. Matt luda threw a stunt off defiying death. and we called it a night...

Chicago

The Acura jam packed with cameras, skates, amallwax and us, arrived in Chicago, Illinois at 7am. We found no one but our good friend PJ Pinsack was awake and at work, so I bought a hotel, cuz we needed to sleep. We awoke pretty damn late around 4pm but still got to the blading once Pj was off. First spot right off the bat, I split my chin....again. Last time i was on a bsmith blog i split my chin too. But it was all good cuz i slapped some butterflies on that bitch and got behind the camera. We then hit up This church drop kink where Jeff and Sapata both layed down steezy royales. After we rolled around this random campus and skated all it had to offer. Everyone was tired from all the hot deals, and my face hurt, so we called it a night. Hella good for the first day, well at least for everyone else.

Day 1

Me, Casey, Jeff, and
Sapata left at 230am from sacramento, on wednesday oct 4th. Got to Winnemuca, Nevada at 630am. Just so happened Sapata used to work out there and spoke of a nasty lil skatepark for a mourning sesh. So we hit that up for a bit then were off to Caseys morman mecca capitol aka SLC. We got there around 3pm, found these marble ledges downtown. We laced some disasters, jumped over a car, and then rolled down the street to the convention center. Sapata threw down some triple kink transfers, and jeff laced the triple kink to ledge trasnfer. We decided that was enough hammys for the evening and left to wyoming, where jeffs good friend Braden would hook it up with a place to sleep. We woke up and found that the town didnt have shit to skate. So we left for chicago, which was a 15 hour stretch. That all went down in roughly 28hours. Sorry no blading this set. -Sean Keane
